How Many lessons are there at Coda Piano?

We have loads of lessons here at Coda Piano and regularly add new ones.

At present you can view all of our lessons in the Absolute Beginner Lessons, Beginner Lessons, and Beginner Songs Pages 

Are the Free lessons Completely Free?

Yes they are completely free with no obligation to buy anything.

We are confident that you will be impressed with our free lessons, and will wish to continue learning through our song series.

Will there be more Difficult lessons available?

Yes we are regularly adding new lessons.

Our syllabus is designed to take you through the learning experience step by step. New content will be added to match your progress.

Will there be any Famous Song lessons available?

Yes we will be adding song lessons for famous piano tracks very soon.

How do I know if a Song is too Easy or too Difficult?

The difficulty of the songs relate to the corresponding level of the free lessons.

For example, if you can play some of the free beginner lessons then you will be able to start learning some of the free beginner songs.

Each song uses different techniques, and you can try these techniques in the free lessons before buying the song.

How Much do Songs Cost?

Each song is priced at £5.95

£23.95 for 6 songs (saving £11.70 almost 2 free songs)

Is my computer fast enough to play videos?

We recommend the following system specs:

PC: minimum spec for ease of playing stramed video direct from our website:

Windows 2000 with SP 4; Windows XP with Service Pack 2; Windows Vista; Windows 7;
Pentium 4 (or other brand equivalent); 1 ghz processor; 512 mg of Ram.

Mac: minimum spec for ease of playing stramed video direct from our website:

Mac OS X; Pentium 4 (equivalent); 1 ghz processor; 512 mg of Ram.

Is my internet connection fast enough?

We recommend using a broadband connection (ideally 2meg bandwidth as a minimum), to view the streamed videos on this website. A broadband connection will also allow you to download video files more easily (due to their large file sizes).

Am I using the best web browser?

We aim for cross platform support but recommend using the latest versions of all browsers, and as a mimimum Internet Explorer 7, Mozilla Firefox 3.6 and Apple Safari 2.

Do I have the best software to view the streamed video?

All video on the Coda Guitar website is in Adobe Flash format. This is one of the most common video formats online and to view this more effectively, we recommend you update to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 

Am I using the best media player for video downloads?

All downloadable video from Coda Guitar is in Windows Media format (wmv). To view this more effectively we recommend the following:

PC: VLC Media Player and K-lite Standard video codec pack, both available as free downloads.

Mac: Flip4mac which will help you to play wmv files using Quicktime Player.
